How many sessions do I need?

The number of counselling sessions will be dependent on many things, including, the nature of the issue and the level of the effect of the issue on the individual person. After the first visit your counsellor will be able to give you an idea of the number of sessions that will be required in a more detailed way. For relationship counselling, the first three sessions will be about assessment of the strengthns and challenges of the relationship and working out a plan of action.

How long do sessions take?

Individual sessions are generally 1 hour long. Couples can be up to a 1.5 hours long.

How much does counselling cost?

When it comes to counselling you have to think of it as an investment in yourself. My dentist asked me what I did. I told him we do similar things, he fixes holes in peoples' teeth I fix holes in peoples' hearts. Only people will pay to have the pain in their teeth taken away but they can live for a long time with pain in their heart. Our fee is $95 per hour session for an individual and $120 per hour session for a couple. For a couple there is a one off fee to cover the cost of an assessment of US$29. For 1.5hours session $180 For supervision of pastoral workers $95 per session Payment can be made by cash, internet transfer.
